This is the author's first effort and though it shows a little and despite some editing issues, I was engaged early with the multiple stories all going on individually then each coming together. I find myself rooting for several characters. The last dozen chapters made it nearly impossible to put down the book. I felt some anxiety along with the main players. I had a very good time with this book.
